CARSTAR Expands in Alberta HAMILTON, ON -- July 5, 2008 -- CARSTAR Automotive Canada has announced two new franchises in Alberta. The addition of these two locations increases CARSTAR’s presence in the province to a total of 12 locations.

Capital CARSTAR Collision in Edmonton and Wrinkles CARSTAR Collision in High River are part of a network of over 125 CARSTAR locations across the country. Both are dedicated to providing the highest quality service and customer care in the collision repair industry.
 
The owners of the new locations, John Kloeckes (Capital CARSTAR Collision) and Mark Kharfan and Brian Grover (Wrinkles CARSTAR Collision), have been a part of the CARSTAR family since 1999, each with one other location.
 
“When I joined CARSTAR in 1999, it was because I wanted to see my business grow,” said Kloeckes. “I’ve experienced significant success since then, so when the opportunity for a second CARSTAR location became available, it was an easy decision.”
 
Kharfan and Grover look forward to growing their business in High River with the new facility. It is conveniently located on the outskirts of Calgary.
 
“We’ve seen how being a part of the CARSTAR network can benefit us and the community,” said Kharfan. “Calgary has been growing at such a rapid pace that it makes sense to have another reliable, quality and customer-focused location in the area.”
 
Capital CARSTAR is a 6,000 sq. ft. facility located in South Edmonton and was previously known as Capital Auto Body. It was acquired from the Dystra family who served the Edmonton area for more than 50 years. Kloekes and his management team, James and Lisa Murphy, are committed to continuing the tradition of outstanding service and quality that the previous owners provided.

These locations will be supported by CARSTAR Corporate’s newly appointed regional director for the western region, Lloyd Wheeler and market development manager in Alberta, Aaron Nerenberg.
